VOMS-400 OPH is a digital surgical microscope system that delivers 4K ultra-high-definition resolution and 3D stereoscopic imaging. It projects the surgical field onto
a large 4K monitor, allowing clear visualization of fine intraocular structures, including
the lens, retina, and optic nerve in procedures such as cataract, retinal, and glaucoma surgeries. The 3D stereoscopic view also enables surgeons to accurately perceive
the position and depth of surgical instruments, facilitating precise microsurgical manipulation.
According to the company, surgeons can use the large monitor instead of the microscope eyepiece, which helps reduce fatigue during long procedures. In addition, the system allows real-time sharing of 4K 3D surgical footage, making it highly useful for professional training and the dissemination of surgical techniques.
Sometech official stated, “The VOMS-400 OPH was developed to provide the visual
solutions required for delicate ophthalmic surgeries,” adding, “Based on the positive
feedback from medical professionals at the conference, we plan to expand
the distribution of this product.”
